"Here the weak become strong and the damaged heal."Deep in the forests of West Elizabeth lies a group with the common goal of survival, and they will accept all with open arms should they choose to accept their laws and pull their own weight. Formed and bonded together through hardship, this pack sees the world through the mindset of surviving by all means, but not at the cost of morality. This is reinforced by their policies of auto-acceptance and offering assistance to all who need it - no one must go it alone though trying times.
Welcome, traveler, to Burning Creek Pack.
— TERRITORY
The pack currently resides in the Tall Trees region of West Elizabeth. Their camp is located in a densely wooded, somewhat hilly area near the Lower Montana River. Dens are composed of rock formations and dugout systems into the hills. Their territory follows the water, spanning from the Aurora Basin to the point of the Lower Montana River that borders West Elizabeth with New Austin.
— HISTORY
The Burning Creek Pack was founded by a lone wolf named Maximilian, who was a long-time resident of West Elizabeth. After countless time spent alone, he realized that surviving in this ever-changing world alone would prove more and more arduous, and so he founded the pack to bring safety to all who need a home so long as they work to the best of their ability.
Reigns (click names to view){Spoiler}{Maximilian Caputo (Year 1-Present)}Maximilian was the initial founder of the pack, setting up shop in Tall Trees and accepting all. He put into place the traditional hierarchy, the Divisions, and the mentor system so that all in the pack could fend for themselves in some way.
— TRADITIONS
DIVISIONS.The work of the pack is spread across three Divisions: War, Hunting, and Peace. The War Division houses members that have an aptitude for fighting. The Hunting Division consists of members that excel in hunting as well as scouting and espionage. The Peace Division holds the pack's healers and those interested in the pack's physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
MENTORS.When a pup becomes an adolescent, they become an apprentice of the Division that best suits their skillset. Apprentices are assigned a mentor in that Division that helps them develop vital skills necessary for success in their field. When the apprentice becomes an adult, they are considered a full member of the Division and are capable of mentoring their own apprentices.
CEREMONIES.There are ceremonies that accompany the mentor system. During these ceremonies, the pack is divided - new apprentices on one side, and new adults with their mentors on another, and everyone else on the other side. New apprentices are assigned a Division and a mentor, who they touch noses with and sit with after they have been assigned. New adults that have been trained as apprentices are introduced as full members of their Division and touch their mentor's nose one final time before they both join the rest of their packmates on the other side.
LAWS.1. Never turn your back on someone in need.
2. Don't start large events without permission of a higher-up.
3. Assault on another member is forbidden.
4. Murder and similar offenses result in exile. Returning to the pack as an exiled member is a death wish.
5. Respect all around you and obey your higher-ups.
6. Medics and children will not be injured on the battlefield.

— F.A.Q.
How do I join the pack? You can create a joining thread in the pack's board, or you can just hop in with your character as if you were always a member. BCP is always auto-accept unless stated otherwise.
Can I play a high position?High positions must be earned or acquired via HP tryouts!
Can I join as a non-wolf character? The pack currently accepts all species.
What are tasks and how do I do them?Tasks are, as the name suggests, a specific assignment the character is given to do in a thread. Tasks are handed out at pack meetings after announcements for those who decide to remain at the meeting. They range from territory cleanups, hunting, border patrols, etc., with some consisting of some sort of conflict (ex: angry neighbors at the border). These tasks can either be assigned to you individually or to complete with other players; this is usually at random, but you may request for a task to be individual/with others if you have a preference. Tasks are optional to take on, but they provide a way to boost your activity (and the pack's) as well as more chances to interact with other characters.
